Two months. That's the amount of time that Emily + Dustin had to plan this wedding, and they absolutely nailed it.

They didn't know 100% where the actual ceremony was going to be until a day or two prior to the wedding, with a few options on the table but all weather dependent.

They love being outdoors together, fishing, canoeing, and hiking, so it was perfect that they chose this secluded spot. After walking down a trail to the lake, they exchanged private vows to each other, before being joined by immediate family to exchange rings.

After everyone left to go back to their home, we spent the rest of the afternoon exploring some of the woods, and capturing their couples photos. Heading back to their house we met up with the wedding party for some fun photos, and then off to Whiskeyjack for a beautiful reception, live music and dinner.

Each wedding I shoot holds a special place in my heart for different reasons, but this whole day was so relaxed, stunning, and meaningful. I'll remember this one for a long time to come!

Congratulations Emily + Dustin, I know there are many more exciting adventures coming your way!
