When Claudie and Spencer started planning their wedding, there was never much question about where it would take place. Poplar Point Camp has been woven into Spencer's life since he was a baby, and into his family's story for many years before that.
They exchanged quiet, private vows overlooking the lake, and the day felt relaxed and genuine, reflecting everything they love most about being at camp.
For their portraits, we headed to some of their familiar trails, and reminiscing about years of memories, and chatting about how special this place will be for their newest member of their family coming in the fall.
We managed to luckily stay one step ahead of a storm, making the most of the dramatic skies after the rain rolled in.
As the evening wound down, guests settled in with a beer + bbq, and Claudie and Spencer ended the night the way any camp wedding should—with a tent, a sky full of stars, and the place that has meant so much to their family for generations.
