I love shooting destination weddings. Spending a week with a big group of friends and family, heading to sunny places, and photographing a wedding couldn't be more special to me, and is always a great adventure.

This one was so unique for me because of the way that Kiersten and Dillon wanted to spend their wedding day. They tied the knot mid-day, running into the water in their wedding clothes, and hopped on a bus to head to their "floating reception". Guests wore their bathing suits, enjoyed snorkeling, jumped off the top tier of the boat, and the wedding supper was a floating kitchen with delicious seafood - it was such an epic way to celebrate their wedding.

A few of my favourite moments, Dillon forgetting his vows so having to freestyle them while their youngest son covered his feet with sand during the ceremony. And also a very special coincidence...they were married on Dillon's grandma's birthday...and the boat during the reception was named "Grandma."

Bringing along their five busy kids (yes....FIVE) and hosting a hectic wedding week is no easy feat, but Kiersten and Dillon were so chill, relaxed, and went with the flow. You guys were made for each other, and it was wonderful capturing this adventure for you.
