I had met with Emily about a week prior to their wedding to go over last minute details, and to get an idea of the "flow" of the wedding day they were hoping for. She brought up the fact that her flower girl would be a bit unconventional, that it would be her cow, Beyoncé walking down the aisle. From that point on I was even more excited to shoot their wedding day, because I knew it would be a total reflection of the things they cherish the most, family + cows. Luckily the rain held off for their ceremony, and most of their photos, and even though we got absolutely drenched by the end of the couples photos, it was SO worth it. This was my last big wedding of 2021, and it couldn't have been more epic.
