Home is wherever I'm with you.
This couldn't be more true for Vik + Vero, who after many many years together, and places, have always felt like home to each other wherever they've lived. I've been so lucky to shoot with these two over the years, and each time I walk away with a HUGE smile on my face. They're the best people. During his vows, Vik talked about Vero's big smile that drew him in, but his own smile is just radiant every freakin' time he looks at her.
If you were in our area on their wedding day, you'd have experienced the rain clouds, the thunder, the wind. We watched it coming from all sides almost, and during their ceremony I was sure we were going to get bad weather. Luckily enough, we were able to do all our photos we wanted, they snuck away to their special place on Vero's parent's property to exchange private letters to each other, before the rain started a bit during the reception.
They danced the night away with their favourite people, and I'm SO glad I was along for the ride. Thank you Vero, Vik (+ Pinotte) for letting me capture so much of your love.
