Derek and Michael's morning began together at their beautiful home, surrounded by their parents, families, and childhood best friends. They helped each other get ready, and it was so special to watch them soak in every moment with the people they love most, in the most chill morning.
My favourite part of the day was their vows. They were emotional, heartfelt, and so beautifully similar—both filled with love and gratitude for having found one another. It was incredibly clear that these two are exactly where they’re meant to be.
Their ceremony at Science North was completely unique, with tiered seating overlooking the space. Guests were able to explore the exhibits, mingle, and celebrate before gathering for a beautiful reception filled with delicious food, meaningful speeches, laughter, and so much happiness that these two got hitched.
They ended the night with an epic party and a surprise performance—the perfect finish to an unforgettable day.
